Heya! I’m Phuong,
Founder and Head Chef at VietQ Foods.
As a first-generation Vietnamese living in New Zealand, food has always been an important part of my life. Growing up, I spent a lot of time in the kitchen cooking with my parents and learning about the flavours and techniques of traditional Vietnamese dishes.

With years of experience in the culinary industry, I am excited to bring my passion for traditional Vietnamese cuisine to Matakana.
I am dedicated to using the freshest and highest-quality ingredients to create delicious and authentic dishes that transport our customers straight to Vietnam with every bite.

It’s my goal to introduce the amazing taste of vietnamese food to Matakana, and to create a memorable dining experience for all of our customers.
